DECEMBER 2025 | ISSUE 02
Focus, Focus, Focus, Focus, F– It All, Just Focus
An issue on attention, discernment, and the relief of choosing one thing at A time.

Editor’s Note
December arrived with a particular kind of tension — not loud, not frantic, just persistent. A feeling of being pulled in several directions at once, each one asking for care, clarity, commitment.
Some of that tension lived in attention — what I was giving it to, what it was costing me to keep it scattered. Some of it lived in love — in the quiet negotiations we make around effort, naming, and mutuality. And some of it lived in the desire to make space before asking for anything new.
This issue was written from inside that in-between. Not at the end of a realization, but while it was still forming. The pieces don’t resolve one another so much as they sit together — examining focus, discernment, and release as parallel practices rather than separate ones.
Rather than offering a reset or a resolution, this issue sits with that tension. With the discomfort of narrowing. With the relief that sometimes follows. With the clarity that comes not from doing more, but from choosing with intention — in relationships, in practice, in how we spend our energy.
If there’s a throughline here, it’s an attention to what remains when urgency softens. To what asks to be chosen — and what quietly asks to be set down.
